Welcome to releasing limiting beliefs meditation.
As kids, we are always confident, resilient, imaginative, curious beings, eager to learn, explore and express ourselves. We are in tune with the feelings and energies around us.
So in tune in fact, that often as kids, when we are still building our sense of self, we find it difficult to understand the boundaries between the energy inside us, and the vibration outside. Everything affects us – positive and negative energies alike. We start shaping ourselves, then, to suit the energy around us better. One of the ways to do it is to hold on to beliefs about us that are limiting and that were not ours to begin with. And so, we continue to limit ourselves way past our adulthood sometimes.
However, as adults, we have the privilege to understand what our sense of self is, so that we may allow only supportive and nourishing vibrations into our own energy fields, so that we may know how to differentiate between fear and love.
We have the privilege to notice and observe our limiting beliefs and write over them by first, acknowledging that they are simply limiting beliefs and secondly, by knowing that we always have the choice to let go of them. Each and every moment is new and this newness allows us to either accept our old stories and be stuck with it, or create a new story of our own – a better story, a story of fearlessness and love, of abundance and beauty, of safety and security, of adventure and expansion.
Let’s make this choice in this moment today to release our past and be new.
